Derek says of the shoot…

Myself, and wedding planner Savannah of Mademoiselle Wedding met up 2020 when everything started to open up after Lockdown.

With the Wedding Industry being so severely impacted by the Pandemic we wanted to boost both our own profiles, but also our fellow industry colleagues by getting everyone together for a epic shoot.

The setting was Enterkine House Hotel in Ayr, built in the late 1930’s set with picturesque views over the River Ayr.

It was recently beautifully refurbished in a contemporary style with a bespoke handcrafted Oak Glass Pavilion for Weddings and Celebrations.

The theme of the day was to be a romantic summer wedding with beautiful citrus tones of yellow, white, orange and green with a bit of added French flair.

As an introduction to the styling a stunning stationery suite was created by Papercut Posies, with a special wedding booklet being created by CherryTop Weddings.

The Bride looked absolute fire in a two beautiful wedding dresses wearing “Evangeline*, a fitted gown  from Etoile by Elysee Bridal and “Rina” by 1 White One from Pronovias at Reeta Fashions.

The Brides exquisite bouquet, the Grooms vibrant buttonhole, table arrangements and the Brides boho inspired floral circlet were created by Narcissus Wedding Flowers by Susan with an additional paper bouquet being crafted by Papercut Posies.

Beautiful hair styling was coiffured by at The Bride To Be and flawless make up was applied by Nicola Farquhar Makeup.

To compliment the Bride, her Groom looked sharp in a three piece suit from Walker Slater.

Make Believe Events did a marvellous job on venue styling with the tablescape in stunning summery colours, and the Aye Do sign being a statement piece.

To complete the look of the day All That Glitters Cakes created a simple but striking three tier cake in white adorned with with rich citrusy florals.
