A spectacular Gothic glamour inspired wedding styled shoot

Today I am thrilled to share this spectacular Gothic glamour inspired wedding shoot at the National Justice Museum in Nottingham.

Images were captured by Vicki Clayson Photography with with the collaboration of an incredible creative team.

The setting of the shoot was the Grade ii listed National Justice Museum the Lace Market area of Nottingham.

There has been some sort of court there since 1375, also used as a prison from 1449 and  a history full of grisly stories.

We used the old gaol (jail) rooms and managed some incredible shots of our couple behind bars.

We also used the outside space capturing its old red brick as a wonderful background.

The gallows and noose, alongside courtrooms and docks provided some interesting captures

Because of its dark past we thought the venue was perfect for a Gothic glamour inspired wedding shoot.

Linzi from That Black and White Cat used rich dark colours in the venue styling to provide a dark but stylish vibe.

An abundance of candles in gold candleabras and gold charger plates provided by Events by Tiana and Vintage Fare – Wedding and Events Decor helped bring an opulence to the wedding breakfast setting proving that unconventional can still remain classy.

Stunning matching stationery from Millie Stone provided the perfect luxurious finishing touches.

Our bride wore a fabulous two piece dress complete with corset and tulle skirt with an added hand embellished cape by Fiona Elizabeth Couture.

Accessories featured a hand painted leather jacket by Ophelia Rose, custom headpiece by Dolls Mad Hattery and lace boots by House of Elliot. The groom wore a suit in complimentary colours.

The modern and bold cake was by Urban Cakehouse and was striking in dark burgundy.

Opulent florals complimented this beautifully and there was also two different bouquets.

There was a real flower bouquet by The Flower Fairy with an alternative bouquet by Charlotte Laurie Designs.
