Today I am thrilled to share a stunning Rose Gold inspired collaborative Styled Shoot from Bridal Accessories brand Chez Bec.
I hand you over to Harriet Rouse to tell you all about this beautful Photoshoot….
“But this year, we’ve noticed that our brides have been asking for something a little bit different, Gold. Rose gold. And not just that, pinky hues courtesy of some lovely Rose Quartz beads that we have found.”
“Which of course meant only one thing, another photoshoot!”
“This time we tried something a little bit outside our comfort zone, and for that we had only one person we wanted: the wonderful Claudine Hartzel, who has always done our photoshoots, and who we now count as a very dear friend.”
“Having long been huge fans (you probably should call us devoted… we spend a LOT of time playing dress up in their beautiful creations..) of Eliza Jane Howell, they were our first port of call for ‘something different’.”
“And the beautiful dresses they sent through in silvers, bronzes and champagnes… well they were perfect.”
“Sprivers, our shoot venue, is a wonderful country estate which has the most stunningly beautiful grounds.”
“Of course, the weather decided to show us what it had, and literally threw everything at us during shoot day: we got outside mind you, but only just!”
“The wonderful thing about a venue like this, is there is always somewhere to find to photograph.”
“The Coach House is used for a snooker table at present, but has an amazing wooden wall that we were going to photograph against… but then Harriet saw a rickety old ladder/staircase (somewhere between the two) and up she went.”
“And discovered a loft with two old chandeliers. Well, you can’t get much more perfect than that!”
“We’re really proud to be able to work with some simply AWESOME industry professionals: Claudine is a genius (and a hoot to work with…. it sometimes feels as though it’s not really work at all shhhhhh!)”
“Liz Bower of Simply Beautiful Wedding Hair, effortlessly tames tresses into the most sublime and complex up dos without breaking sweat…. always on hand with a comb and pins to undo the damage that Harriet does when changing headbands over..”
“Ellie from The Beauty Aisle creates beautiful, natural make-up looks that never fail to make our models look absolutely gorgeous, and is a total pleasure to work with (and brings great tunes with her too).”
“We worked with two florists on the shoot, Katherine, Florist in the Forest, is renowned for her home-grown, organic arrangements (we fell in love with the dark tulips), and created three spectacular bouquets.”
“Lucy from Wild Coco, created our two flower crowns which somehow just worked with the vintage beadwork of the Eliza Jane Howell dresses.”
“Her dramatic peony crown was pared down by her standards (you can never have too many peonies though right?!)”
“We were incredibly lucky to have Cut Above Productions film the whole shoot too, creating a wonderful reminder of the day, and showing people what we really get up to.”
Thank you so much to the team for allowing me to share their exquisite styled shoot.
