Step into this amazing Vintage themed railway wedding shoot created by the Leicester Wedding Network at the Great Central Railway, in Loughborough, perfect inspiration for those who love trains, or those planning smaller weddings.
Images were captured by IsoElegant Photography alongside the collaboration of a fabulous creative team.
Imagine getting married at a heritage Victoria railway station and then having your wedding reception on a vintage train as it sweeps through the Leicestershire countryside? Sounds pretty epic!
This wedding shoot was planned with the railway at its very heart.
The team wanted to make the most of the stunning Victorian forefront, platform and unique features.
The traditional platform signs, clocks, red phone box and luggage were all incorporated.
Various locations around the venue were used including the traditional bar (where our groom would have a drink beforehand with his grooms party), weighing scales and of course the railway tracks (all safely supervised of course!).
And then of course there were the heritage steam trains!
There were lots of perfect picture opportunities both inside the carriages and outside – especially when our train, the Witherslack Hall, for the day departed with full steam!
Inside the first class waiting room, the intricate, luxury wedding cake with soft creams and peaches alongside bold burgundy, intricate Victorian lace detail and hand crafted sugar flowers was set up
Alongside were gold candlesticks which worked perfectly with the traditional fireplaces and luxurious flower arrangements.
The Victorian lace theme continued throughout the models attire with bridalwear with wedding accessories with intricate lace boots and millinery.
Two hat designs were featured on the day – one was beautifully romantic with soft pink roses and lace.
The other bold with burgundy flowers and statement pheasant feather.
The groom was decked out in a vintage tweed suit with coordinating accessories to compliment his Bride.
