A sunshine inspired retro wedding shoot with beautiful rich earthy colours

Today I am excited to share Here Comes The Sun – a sunshine inspired retro wedding shoot with beautiful rich earthy colours.

Images were captured by Golden Vibes Photography with Event Design by Magical Events By Yami alongside the creativity of a fabulous collaborative team.

Inspired by all things 70s, this retro wedding shoot takes us back to a wonderful era, and we wanted to squeeze out every single bit of inspiration.

We started by picking out our warm earthy colours, then brainstormed ideas for the backdrop.

Stunning invitations by Calligraphy by Michelle T gave a bold insight into the day and theme with pretty signage provided by Rustic Rentals L.A

Then we discussed outfits for our lovely couple with the jumpsuit giving that retro feel while the dress  from Handmade by Yamileth had a contemporary bohemian vibe.

Their bridal attire was accessorised by handmade jackets by Yamis Magical Creations  ring by Kristina Wright Jewelry and jewellery by Hayden B and Lulupo Designs.

Their gorgeous natural beauty looks were created by makeup artists Painted by Lupita and Beleza by Claudia Pinto.

The florals by Ezai Floral Design added a beautiful touch of tropical vibes, and of course with any 70s swing we needed DISCO BALLS!

We also knew from the beginning we didn’t want typical bridal bouquets, so what’s more fun than some custom made tambourines with some pretty accessorising florals.

When discussing ideas for a guest and sweetheart table, we felt it was totally appropriate to do picnic tables providing a more casual and fun vibe to our theme!

The tablescape including linen table runners by Oh So Pretty Vintage was beautiful yet understated with colourful floral centrepieces, raffia mats, floral crockery and gorgeous gold candlesticks with pillows all around for ultimate comfort.

Gorgeous rentals / props were by Rustic Yard Events. while the very cool mobile bar was by Copper Moon.

Finger food was next level with dainty but delicious looking treats by Amy’s Culinary Adventures.

To complete the overall look there was an amazing cake from Sweet Crumb Cakery which looked spectacular from its fiery hue to the feathery floral applique to its sunburst design.

In addition there was fabulous personalized cookies from Sugarbursst with our brides names on and popsicles from Pops of Magic.

We hope our shoot is a source of inspiration for all couples out there trying to think outside the box, and those planning intimate weddings !
