Today I am excited to share this wagtastic dog inspired wedding shoot with kitsch 1950s aspects that is the perfect inspiration for all those canine lovers.
The shoot is filled to the brim with lots of dog inspired details from the invitation suite to the crockery, kitsch table ornaments, mounted paper dog head and the CUTEST doggo models.
Images were captured by Ellie Grace Photography with the collaboration of a fabulous creative team.
Ellie says of the shoot…
If you hadn’t guessed by now, I LOVE dogs. I’m a big animal person but dogs have a really special place in my heart.
My first dog was the love of my life and the sister I never had so I know just how incredible these animals are in your lives.
So why should they not play a part in your wedding?
Many venues now allow you take your dogs to the venue, or you can hire a dog walker, or specialist dog sitters to meet you somewhere for some portraits with your pooch, after all they are family!
Have you ever wondered how you can involve dogs in more of your wedding? Well consider this your Dog inspired wedding inspiration.
For the shoot I had no particular colour scheme or specific style in mind, just lots of lovely canines.
I’m not sure when this shoot took a turn into the 50s/kitsch direction but boy am I glad it did.
Everyone who was involved did an incredible job, they literally say never work with kids or animals but I did BOTH!!!!
There were no accidents, nothing got broken, a chocolate brownie may have lost it’s life to a snaffling whippet but everyone was fine and it was a super fun day.
