Today I am excited to share this beautiful luxe botanical wedding styled shoot at Highcliffe Castle with pretty rose gold aspects.
Images were captured by New Forest Studio.
MUA Frances Moore shares the inspiration behind this gorgeous shoot…
“The inspiration behind the luxe botanical wedding styled shoot came very much from the venue itself.”
“Highcliffe Castle, located in Dorset, is a particularly unique wedding venue, with an impressive combination of architectural styles including elements of gothic revival, medieval stonework and Georgian mansion with gardens that were laid out by Capability Brown.”
“The shoot took place in Highcliffe’s ‘Winter Garden’ room, which overlooks the beautiful knot garden towards the rear of the building.”
“The long, slim windows are decorated with lead panels and the white washed walls and stone pillars give the space a very Kew Garden, Victorian botanical garden feel that we felt we just had to capture.”
“Much of the botanical feel came from the flowers, which had to feature quite heavily to give the shoot it’s structure.”
“The gorgeously green and sumptuous florals came from Sophie Anderson of Flowers, With Wild Abandon who created two simply divine bridal bouquets.”
“She also lovingly provided all the detailing and decoration on the peacock chair – we just couldn’t have enough florals for this theme!”
“Sophie worked closely with Tammy George of Fundoo Weddings and Hayley Jones of Sweetcheeks Bakehouse to combine all of their creativity into creating the most stunning banquet table.”
“Using rose gold sequinned table cloths, florals, golden candelabras, bell jars, sweet little cakes and all manner of other nick nacks, the team were able to build a series of ‘scenes’ along the table.”
“The exquisite stationery came from Sophie Kent of Peony and Rose. Sophie was simply amazing at understanding the concept of the shoot, and kindly designed two different styles of wedding stationery that beautifully captured the botanical look of the shoot.”
“Her stationery always has a quality look and feel that just makes her work stand out and be instantly recognisable.”
“The breathtaking wedding gowns were provided by Hannah Elizabeth Bridal Boutique, located in Botley, and the two Hannah chose for the shoot were just perfect.”
“We were able to give some of the images a real sense of movement and fun, whilst simultaneously maintaining an elegance that is reminiscent of the building itself.”
“The Rachel Simpson shoes and bolero were also provided by Hannah Elizabeth Bridal.”
“The hair accessories were provided by White Designs Bridal, with owner and designer Tracy making a bespoke rose gold fern bracelet especially for the shoot.”
Thank you to Frances, New Forest Studio Photography and the collaborative team for sharing this botanical wedding styled shoot.
Love the bountiful greenery against the stunning metallics of the rose gold accessories and cake and the rich jewel tones of the bouquet, a striking combination and beautiful styling throughout.
