Today I am excited to share something a little different with an Autumnal Wedding Dance inspired shoot with a Fox Twist.
Images were captured by Melanie Chadd Photography as she wanted to combine the love for her favourite season, with childhood memories and a passion for dance, especially the Wedding Dance.
I hand over to Mel to share her inspiration…
“As a wedding photographer, I always get really excited by unique, autumnal weddings.”
“That’s why as the summer draws to an end, I always aim to provide a little bit of inspiration for my favourite wedding season.”
“Last year, my autumnal shoot was based around a deer. This was inspired by my love of Scotland and all the wild deer we see on our annual trips there.”
“This year, my partner and I have made the huge and life changing decision to relocate to our beloved Scotland. From October 2015, I will be based in the Perth area.”
“So this year’s autumnal shoot is inspired by an animal I often see right here in the Herefordshire countryside.”
“My heart lies in Scotland but there will always be a part of me here in Ledbury, it has been my home for so many joyful years.”
“As a child, my Granddad used to refer to foxes as Charlie fox, a name that has stuck with me and brings back fond memories.”
“I wanted to combine Charlie with the fabulous trend that is sweeping the bridal scene – really exciting wedding dances.”
“I just adore the ballet and I can’t help thinking that a beautiful ballet dancer could wow her family with a truly memorable wedding dance.”
“My gorgeous model Rebecca is dressed and made up as Charlie fox.”
“The shapes her body can create are just phenomenal. I love the elegance and beautiful lines created through ballet.”
“As you can see, Rebecca interpreted my ideas perfectly into movement, creating a cheeky yet attractive character.”
Whilst not strictly Bridal the shoot alludes to the importance of dance in Weddings and the gracefullness of ballet and the beauty that conveys.
The soft autumnal colour palette of peaches and browns reflects the season, and the images are warm and playful making this interperative look somewhat enchanting.
