An elegantly moody Rustic Farm Wedding Inspiration Shoot

Today I am thrilled to share an elegantly moody rustic Farm Wedding Inspiration shoot shot at Great Betley Farmhouse in West Sussex.

Images were captured by Masha Unwerth with the collaboration of a fabulous creative team.

Masha says of this beautiful shoot..

The natural scenery of the venue, Great Betley Farmhouse, set the perfect tone for this moody rustic farm inspiration shoot.

With a touch of colourful palette, farmhouse setting, and stunning floral creations from Lily and Myrtle, the design of the shoot creates a look that is both romantic and elegantly moody while remaining warm and relaxed.

The inspiration for moody rustic farm wedding styled shoot came from the desire to pull in non-traditional wedding décor, such as the dried floral bouquet, the minimalist rustic ceremony site, and the farm style table decor set up under the old willow tree.

It was the perfect backdrop for a rustic farmhouse setting with subtle hints of modern decor. A little wind and rain throughout the shoot made the theme feel more impactful.

Having worked with Lily and Myrtle previously I was feeling inspired by the selection of florals and in particular, dried elements of this, as they made the fresh blooms truly stand out.

The ‘non-traditional’ décor of the shoot has naturally allowed for much more forward thinking.

Every tablescape detail was given attention to down to the combined place card and menu as one at each place setting.

Messy but chic pony tail hair by Nadia Wyatt of Sussex Hair & Makeup Artist, glowing bridal makeup, courtesy of the model, Kimberley, applique textures sleek bridal dress by Y.A.S Bridal Collection, invitation suite by The AmyVerse and styled with blooms from Lily and Myrtle and cake by Love from Lila all contributed to the overall untraditional afternoon.

Our groom wore a relaxed mismatched combo that was the perfect amount of ‘celebratory look’ to balance the ‘unlike any other wedding’ concept.

The invitation suite was again the perfect balance between the “untraditional” and rustic with a bold type paired against coloured background.

I wanted to appeal to the outside the box thinkers, the couple who is not afraid to take the risk and merge unconventional meets traditional aspect to have a day that is unique and full of free spirit!

Every detail including having a celebrant on the day was so carefully thought out keeping the day intimate and helped enhance the slightly moody independent feel with the love between our two lovers, Kimberley and Paul.

Thanks so much to Masha and the team for sharing this gorgeous shoot.

The shoot draws all of the elements of an authentic rustic farm wedding together and effortlessly showcases the work of the team, and the wonderful setting.
