Today I am thrilled to share an enchanting Red Riding Hood inspired wedding shoot with vibrant red and woodland accents.
Images were captured by Unique Image Photography with planning by 4yaparty and the collaboration of an incredible creative team.
Photographer Claire says of the shoot…
Last summer we created a wedding styled shoot turned real vow renewal based on the childhood fairytale of Red Riding Hood.
The inspiration for this shoot actually came when planner Mercedes was reading the beloved bed time story to her toddler, and as she always does, started thinking about weddings.
Styling was vibrant with rich red tones and in an outdoor woodland setting the scene was set.
To create a beautiful insight into the day stationery was created by Prim and Glad.
Bride Tanias pretty gown was by L’Amour Curves with pretty headbands by Saint Beth, an incredible red cape and a fabulous bouquet by Charlotte Laurie Designs.
This was accessorised with jewellery (rings & earrings) by Varoshe Bespoke Jewellery, and Joaquim Bianca MUA and Hair: Faye Naomi Bridal Hair created a flawless bridal look.
Our Groom Jason complimented with dark trousers and crisp white shirt and a stylish flat cap, and our Bridesmaid was dressed in
The gorgeous tablescape was created with design and props from 4YaParty with a yummy cake from Wee Cupcakes.
Nearly Real Florals provided spectacular floral pillars that with an amazing archway were the wonderful background to the couples ceremony.
Although not included in the shoot your four legged friend could play a part in your Red Riding Hood inspired Wedding Day being representative of the Big Bad Wolf.
This shoot ended up being a real vow renewal when we realised the couple Tania & Jason were celebrating 20 years of marriage this year and it was the perfect way to celebrate it.
It’s very important to me that the wedding industry is representative and celebrates diversity not just for the models but the team behind the shoot too so all my shoots have to show this and this was no different.
2 of our suppliers were disabled, 5 from an ethnic minority and our real couple were a gorgeous mix of black and Asian-Hispanic and plus size.
A fun day had by all and definitely something a bit different with nods to the theme without becoming cliche!
