A Bridal shower tea party is a very traditional, elegant and sophisticated way to celebrate a bride’s upcoming wedding, and this pretty pink soiree with gorgeous bee details is the perfect inspiration.
In these Pandemic times things may be a little different, and coming together with those we love may still seem a little way off, but I am excited to share a little bit of inspiration for when that day comes.
Judith says of this beautiful bridal shower tea party inspiration shoot…
You can go dainty and refined and vintage chic, or you can go full on contemporary, fresh and bold or whatever nuanced spin you want to put on the styling.
Any way you want to theme it, at its core is the celebration of the Bride and those important to her.
Its a reminder of those days when you were a little girl and would play pretend, and serve all your stuffed animals “tea” but now fully grown you as the Bride get to spend time with your best gals sharing memories and wishes for the future.
You can enjoy catching up, laughing and joking with your friends for the last time as a singleton before tying the knot, and and generally having a lot of fun.
These moments are truly precious for the Bride celebrating with people who are her biggest support
Pinterest may tell you what the theme should look like but YOU are in complete control whether thats colourways, decoration or menu options.
Think different tea options from traditional English Breakfast to Earl Grey, fruity, and herbal. You may even want to serve something a wee bit stronger in teapots.
Think personalised bite sized treats, dainty sandwiches to lots and lots of cake, and to make things a little more personal perhaps a motif for tablescape accessories.
For the purposes of this shoot there were oodles of pretty pink details, with a bee theme playing subtly through the styling from table decor to menus in addition to the bride’s super adorable puppers, glorious florals and lots of tempting sweet treats.
