Today I am thrilled to share some beautiful colourful intimate wedding inspiration with a seasonal Italian edge.
The styled photo shoot was in a way a celebration of the change of seasons, and to provide some styling ideas to those planning small celebrations of their nuptials.
Weddings have changed so much over the past year.
An intimate affair can be perfect for the couple who want less fuss, but in these times as Covid restrictions have ebbed and flowed many couples who had planned larger celebrations are having to re-think plans for their special day.
It can be so upsetting to have to consider change of all those things that you had imagined for your Wedding but intimate weddings can be heartfelt, relaxed, and deeply personal.
With a small guest list, you can share wonderful moments with your nearest and dearest, still bringing big impact to the look of the styling.
This photo shoot took place last fall in Tuscany at Villa Buonvisi, a venue with 500 years of character and history in its walls.
Two scenarios were showcased showing spectacular colourful intimate wedding inspiration that can be so helpful to couples planning a wee celebration.
Fall is the time when so many iconic and delicious Italian produce are collected; mushrooms, chestnuts, and, as at the venue, olives.
Ida at Villa Buonvisi had prepared a spectacular table full of produce in the dappled shade of the olive grove in front of the Villa, with Rebel Rebel also arranging the most stunningly colourful dahlias for a bright and eye catching tablescape.
As the day wore on, we moved our styling to the Limonaia, an intimate space which would have traditionally been where the lemon trees where grown.
This was set out for an intimate party, with the flowers in a sophisticated palette of creams and dark purples.
