Today I am thrilled to be sharing some gorgeous Dark Skies Elopement Inspiration in the rugged Galloway Forest.
Images were captured by Hemera Visuals with the collaboration of an intimate creative team.
Cameron of Hemera Visuals says of the shoot…
The shoot was styled around the beautiful new Osprey Dome built right onto the edge of Lock Ken in Galloway Forrest.
Nestled in the dark sky park of Galloway Forest, the Osprey bothy is the perfect setting for any elopement wedding.
Right on the shores of Loch Ken you have un-interrupted views over looking the loch and the Galloway Hills.
Mixing that rugged mountain landscape with the beautiful stylings and interior of the bothy were a match made in heaven.
I wanted to show a beautiful elopement in Galloway to prove that there are many amazing differing options alongside the popular Glencoe or Skye.
Being in the heart of the dark sky park I knew I wanted that to be the subtle overarching theme of dark skies.
My lovely wife Shauni and I made the place names and the custom made Astro themed plates whilst Blossom + Bloom created the incredible florals from the beautiful centrepiece, bouquet and buttonhole
We wanted to keep it very minimal but just bouncing off the beautiful vibes of the area.
Keeping in mind the rugged charm of the area all the couples images for our Dark Skies Elopement were shot in and around Loch Ken.
