Today I am thrilled to share this elegant & dreamy pretty in pink Wedding inspiration for the contemporary Bride at the Paternoster Hotel.
A West Coast Wedding A-team pulled together for a little styled session in anticipation of the reopening of this divine space where many wonderful memories will be made.
Images were captured by Jude at Silver Dune Photography.
Cindy Clokie of Tying Knots who co-ordinated says of the shoot…
The Paternoster Hotel is a legacy building amongst this small fishermens village of Paternoster on the West Coats of the Cape, South Africa in an untouched, uncommercialised part of the world full of culture and rich history.
The Hotel recently underwent a renovation and facelift and this shoot’s main objective was to promote this new look , feel and offering for wedding couples.
The venue itself is is a Heritage site and therefore the refurbishing of it was heavily controlled with the original walls of the building being exposed.
These heavy yet light stone walls have a felonious past in that they originally housed the prisoners of the village – yes, it was originally the prison.
Admittedly not a romantic story so for balance the shoot team chose the softness and fun-ness of the pink, candyfloss and flowy dresses to soften the potential harsh beauty of this gorgeous building.
Thank you so much to Jude and the collaborative team for sharing this gorgeous pretty in pink wedding shoot.
Isn’t it glorious, bursting with candy colour with its breathtaking florals, paper fan backdrop, gorgeous gowns and stunning tablescapes complimenting beautifully against the venues stone walls
