Today I am delighted to share this elegant and whimsical Georgia wedding shoot with pretty french blue details at Hollyoaks Plantation.
Images were captured by Meredith Ryncarz Photography with a fabulous collaborative team…
Meredith says of the shoot…
When we talk 2020 weddings, the Pantone colour of the year suggests a trend towards using classic blues in wedding styling
If you are more of a traditional bride and don’t want to go wild with sporting a bright blue wedding dress, then accessorising with the shade in footwear, jewellery and perhaps a belt or sash adds a dash of allure.
For the shoot our Bride looks an absolute vision of loveliness wearing a delicate whimsical gown from BleuNelle Bridal, whilst our Groom compliments her with a sleek suit paired with a floral tie from Amazon that adds an additional layer of pattern.
From furniture rentals to table linens and even cake, subtle French blue is a good alternative to the stronger classic blue for a tablescape.
To keep your colour palette modern we recommend bright pops of lemon and grapefruit as unique and fragrant table decor for a early spring or late summer lawn wedding.
Hand-painted linen monogrammed napkins add an additional layer of customization that can also reflected in hand lettered invitations.
While a vibrant blue cake may be too much of a statement for some (but perfect for others), our theme was carried through in a lightly marbled blue, grey, and white cake with just a touch of metallic gilding.
