Today I am thrilled to share Illuminated Love – a timeless, elegant & romantic styled shoot.
The aim was to try and incorporate a few essential ingredients of timeless elegance, romance, style, contemporary and chic, to create a magical outcome, and inspiration for couples for their special days.
Images were captured by Story & Colour Photography with co-ordination by Cheers Events London and an amazing collaborative team..
Zoe and Chanelle of Cheers Events say of the shoot…
“The venue was chosen for its slightly worn look, a whisper of glory days forgotten, illuminated again, by the promise of love and new beginnings.”
“We wanted to deliver a look that would speak to todays millennial brides, who are trend conscious, but classic at the same time.”
“The goal was to really peel back from the idea of over the top, extravagance and reintroduce simplicity.”
“This bride is all about celebrating in an intimate setting with only very close loved ones.”
“She won’t feel over whelmed with strict seating plans and schedules or forget to enjoy every element of the day.”
“They will all dance until the last candle blows out and cherish the memories….”
“With this in mind we wanted to keep romantic softness with the floral arrangements, opting for roses, tulips, pussy willows and more.”
“We kept to a soft colour pallet of creams and pale pinks but added a pop of orange, to compliment all the beautiful colours in the room.”
“The vibrant colours of the room lend itself to the trend conscious element, (a step away from traditional country homes/castles etc.), where the use of soft candle light and simple wedding dresses, lends itself to the classic element.”
The lovely glow of candlelight casts a dreamy air across any celebration and exudes a warmth that compliments the gorgeous
florals and table styling and brings this romantic styled shoot to life.
