Today I am excited to share this incredible vibrant and colourful botanical inspired wedding styled shoot.
Images were captured by Amy Faith Photography in collaboration with a fabulous creative team.
Amy says of the shoot…
Styled shoots are also a brilliant way to showcase how creative we can all be and show you some new fashions and trends within the constantly changing wedding scene.
Organising this colourful botanical inspired wedding shoot also gave me the chance to get to know so many wonderful local companies and the great people behind them.
Sefton Park Palm House was a perfect location for this shoot – so bright and airy, so tropical and sunny, so spacious and wide open.
The botanicals and tropical plants are SO HOT in styling, and provided the most amazing backdrop to what we wanted to achieve.
If you’re a newly engaged couple who are currently trying to imagine what your wedding day will look like, and all you’re seeing is burlap covered jam jars and shabby chic bunting, then you need to turn off Pinterest and open your mind.
Most couples haven’t spent much time being immersed in the world of wedding styling so its all fresh and new.
Sometimes seeing what is around at weddings you have attended can restrict your thoughts on the possibilities for your own celebration
But you have no idea the amount of ways you can style your own wedding; the sky is the limit!
Of course you can have neon signs with the most expensive lillies you can buy. Of course you can wear ASOS and denim with designer label dresses. OF COURSE you can wear a pink hat!
Your imagination has no limit and literally anything you want, you can have!
My idea behind this shoot was to be as colourful, youthful and modern as possible.
The colour pink played a huge role and I found that varying shades of this gorgeous hue can actually help calm your soul and empower you.
Combine this with the gentle greens of the botanicals and its just the most perfect combo.
My aspiration is to encourage couples to be as avant garde, quirky and as out there as they wish.
Whether thats loud and proud, gracefully tacky, sometimes clashing or just overall bright colourful and fun.
I absolutely love in the scope of the shoot how much the tassel banner clashes against the natural palm backdrop, how tacky the gold feels against the bright pinks and how elegant the dresses are in comparison to how edgy the pink denim jacket is.
