Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous countryside wedding inspiration shoot with accents of tweed and pink, purple and burgundy that embodies rustic charm to the utmost.
Kathryn says of the shoot…
With a hand-picked team of creative wedding professionals, we collaboratively planned to create the look of rustic countryside charm, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location than Thirsk Racecourse as the backdrop.
Situated in the heart of North Yorkshire within beautiful grounds and well manicured lawns, this venue is set amongst historic buildings which offer a romantic, fairy-tale backdrop with views across the renowned ‘Herriot Country’.
The setting inspired the theme with accents of tweed and pink, purple and burgundy throughout.
I wanted to work with a team of people who would embrace the vision I had, and then add their own individual creativity to it
Everyone in the team brought their own bespoke, crafted and homegrown wedding day elements – from our Bride in a stunning gown from the Bridal Affair to our sauve Groom in a tweed suit from Humphrey and Tilly.
The brides make up Alison Martin Make Up Artist is perfectly natural and her look epitomises a rustic English Rose.
To finish the styling Where The Ribbon Ends was tasked with creating trio of minimalist yet still strikingly pretty cakes adorned with flowers keeping the look relaxed, and complimenting the theme.
The shoot draws all of the elements of an authentic rustic countryside wedding together and effortlessly showcases the work of the team.
