Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous country garden wedding inspired bridal shoot captured at the exclusive Irnham Hall Wedding Venue in Lincolnshire.
I hand over to Adrian from Harvey & Harvey Photography to tell you more…
“Think Peter Rabbit, rustic, English country garden and you just begin to see inside Jack Barton’s head for this shoot that was captured at the exclusive Irnham Hall Wedding Venue in Lincolnshire“.
“When we went for a first look round as a team, Jack – Wedding stylist at Pretty Quirky Hire – set her eyes on the old greenhouses and veggie patch around the back and that’s where the inspiration began to flow.”
“It bought back childhood memories of her holidays to Norfolk and the vibrant fruit, flower and veg stalls at the side of the road on the way.”
“Horses played a big part in Jack’s past too so naturally as a venue with a field full of horses we had to ask if we could borrow one for our shoot!”
“And very kindly we got to borrow a gorgeous grey named Eeyore who was such a gent!”
“Amazingly our model Louise and hair and make up stylist Kelly were perfectly at home around horses – which helped enormously when it came to getting the beautiful flowers in place on Eeyore and the actual modelling!”
“The shoot was a long time in planning as we got rained off first time round but on the day we had a perfect team with perfect weather for a fun and relaxed shoot.”
“Jack’s story for the shoot was the bride arriving with her childhood horse preparing to meet and marry her man.”
“They marry at the stall and then head of to the cider bar for celebrations and later on some garden games.”
“To finish the couple had a romantic wedding picnic under a tree with handmade kites.”
Thank you so much to Harvey & Harvey and the fabulous collaborative team for bringing together this wonderfully creative and pretty country garden wedding inspired bridal shoot.
I love the beautiful styling with stunning florals, beautiful lanterns, and kites with a touch of the vintage with pretty suitcases, books and vintage cameras.
Love also the use of all the fresh fruit and vegetables bringing earthy and rustic significance to the shoot.
Louise and Gareth made the most lovely couple, and Eeyore is just the perfect model, such a placid horse.
