Today I am exited to share this whimsical, colourful and fun Alice in Wonderland Wedding Inspiration for the modern couple.
Who doesn’t love some out there alternative ideas whether its full on wacky Mad Hatters Tea Partyesque or more subtle and pretty with sweet vintage detail.
Images were captured by Chloe Lee Photography with concept design by Kayleigh Keen and the creativity of a fabulous collaborative team.
Chloe says of the shoot…
The concept of the shoot was based around Lewis Carrolls Adventures of Alice in Wonderland.
We were keen to keep the playful whimsical nature of the fairytale but without going to far into the cheesy Disney adaptation world, and providing inspiration for a modern couple.
We took inspiration from the book illustrations and weaved in fun fonts, quirky quotes and a botanical nature into the stationery.
We also had nods to fun themes from the book such as the flamingo croquet, afternoon tea and oversized props, and of course we had to feature a bunny or two!
The hair and make up was youthful and fun with pops of colour and quirky styles to compliment Alices kookiness.
We used fun and colourful props and furniture to emphasise the mad hatters tea party and a cute Victorian style tea trolley, a little nod towards the original publication era, and lots of colourful blooms.
Our venue Marleybrook House was the perfect location for ourĀ Alice in Wonderland Wedding shoot with its secret garden feel and quirky fun fair providing great backdrops for the different scenes.
