Today I’m excited to share “All that Glitters”, the brand new 2015/2016 collection of Wedding Shoes from Charlotte Mills Bridal.
Now if beautiful shoes get you more than a wee bit giddy then you will be in heaven with this glorious, eclectic range of pretty footwear.
Shoot images by Jonny Draper Photography with help of a superb collaborative team.
Wedding shoes designer Charlotte graduated from the prestigious Cordwainers with a BA Hons in Product Design & Development for the Fashion Industry.
For her final degree show, Charlotte created a bridal footwear range and this is where her dream began.
Charlotte’s long term goal was to concentrate exclusively on designing bridal footwear but she needed to gain industry experience before her dream could be realised.
Since graduating Charlotte has designed footwear ranges for many of the UK’s best known high street brands, working with factories in both Spain and the Far East.
She is based in Oldham.
After a successful 2014 debut with “Lovehearts”, Charlotte is back with another amazing collection for 2015.
The designs do not stray far from her signature of creating luxury fashion forward styles with a fun love heart twist, and they are just sooooo pretty!
Charlotte uses combination of different luxury materials to create each shoe with soft glitters and metallic’s paired with the softest ivory leathers.
Colour plays an important part in the collection, which is perfect for those Brides who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd and want something unique.
Just like last season the new styles are hand finished with a silver sixpence and the leather sole is embossed with the phrase “Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, Something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe.”
The Something New is the shoe, the Something Blue is detailed on the insock and the Something borrowed will be inside the shoebox.
Brides love this idea and it is unique to Charlotte Mills Shoes.
This Collection Charlotte gives traditional wedding shoes a new twist with metallic block heels, gilly lace ups and delicate tie around ankle straps.
The popular Anabel flat pump and Andrea styles have had an update, and there are now over 10 different heart trims to choose from.
Brides can pick a design to fit their theme or personality with anything from Fun slogan hearts with “Just Married” and“Happily Ever After” to hearts adorned with glittering crystals and fresh water pearls.
These have been created by amazing British Jewellery designer Laura Rhodes.
The shoes are hand crafted in Spain, and the factory Charlotte has selected to work with has been making shoes for over 50 years.
The workmanship is evident in the attention to detail and quality of the finished product.
Charlotte hopes each bride will fall in love with their wedding shoes and they will be a keepsake of their special day to treasure forever.
Thank you so much to Charlotte for sharing her exquisite Wedding shoe collection and also to Jonny and the amazing collaborative team for styling and capturing them so beautifully.
There is so much gorgeous its exceptionally difficult to choose just one shoe but I would to say the Andrea Gold wins it for me.
Much though I have a passion for footwear my feet and hips don’t tolerate heels well so the blend of pretty and block heel leads the way.
To make another choice the Alexis Red is just exquisite and screams bold, vivacious Bride.
Charlotte now stocks her shoes in many beautiful boutiques as well as being available online > Stockists
Her stunning footwear ranges in price from £160 to £365.
