From a personal little wedding project, to a maternity leave hobby and then an obsession Amanda Moon Bridal Headwear and hats has evolved.
Whether a lady is quirky, shy or gregarious there will be a piece that appeals to some aspect of her personality.
Since 2012 her millinery collection has been growing and today I spotlight on a fabulous Photoshoot with other creatives that took place recently at the Botanical Gardens Sheffield.
Images of the day were captured by Ellie Grace Photography.
I hand over to Ellie Grace to tell you more about the shoot….
“My incredibly talented friend at Amanda Moon Headwear approached me about potentially putting together a photo shoot to show case her range of bridal headwear.”
“Now I’m already obsessed with her work so I jumped at the chance, its something that is so unique and new in the bridal world that I couldn’t wait for the opportunity to show it off.”
“We wanted to create a look that was classic and elegant with a quirky twist.”
“I really hope that this shoot marks the beginning of bridal headwear like Amanda’s showing up more frequently at weddings and most importantly, on the Brides.”
“Luckily one of my best friends is the beautiful and well practiced model, Katy Bangert, she worked so perfectly with the style of the shoot.”
“We had all already worked with our obvious choice for hair styling which was Niahm from Gypsy Rose Beauty Salon.”
“Her style matched the style of Amanda’s hats and she is incredibly talented at what she can create.”
“We contacted Kelly from KMR Bespoke Bridal Design as I had already met her and seen a lot of her Bridal Gowns so could see her work fitting in perfectly with our shoot.”
“Luckily she said yes and chose 2 beautiful dresses for us to use.”
“Last but not least was makeup. We had been let down at the very last minute which sent us into panic mode but luckily Pacha from Makeup by Pacha stepped in.”
“We think it was fate as she couldn’t have created a more flawless look for Katy, and may I add that she did it in a super fast time which was perfect!”
“There was also a lot of deliberation about the venue and initially we wanted somewhere that was inside (considering the time of year) and somewhere grand with light, open spaces.”
“Eventually we chose the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield, and I must say that I was super excited to get Katy into the bear pit and have a play.”
“Everything worked out absolutely perfectly, despite the rain, but the Pavillions provided shelter and another interesting location.”
“It was a great day and we all worked well together as a collaborative team both swapping business advice and more importantly having fun!””
Thank you so much to Ellie for sharing her beautiful imagery, to Amanda for sharing her gorgeous Bridal headwear, and the team for their amazing collaborative and creative work.
What a wonderful location to share such beautiful designs that are in someway botanically inspired.
