Today I am thrilled to spotlight on Wedding Creations, who from favours, invitations, decor and Wedding accessories, specialise in all things rustic and country chic inspired by the surrounding Cotswolds.
Wedding Creations was set up originally as a hobby in 2012, and has since grown into a full time and international business having catered for brides in 18 different countries.
It is run by stylist Lauradana Day.
Lauradana prides herself on quality and giving you a completely unique and bespoke service, and her styling service is very popular due to the amount of bespoke products she creates, and time she puts into making your day unique.
Wood, hessian, burlap and lace feature prominently in her stunning creations.

I hand over to Lauradana to find out about her beautiful Business…
Who are you, and what do you do?
“My name is Lauradana Day, and I make bespoke wedding décor as well as being a wedding stylist.”
When and why did you start your Company?
“I started with only £5 back in 2011 and bought some hessian, a needle and some thread.”
“I uploaded a bag I made on Etsy and had forgotten all about it until my first order in April 2012.”
“I continued as a part time hobby and used the money to help fund my postgraduate degree.”
“It wasn’t until lots of requests for wedding items started coming in that I renamed to Wedding Creations UK and the business was born.”
“I then plunged into the world of weddings full-time in 2014!”
What inspires you?
“Everything from a piece of scrap wood to an image I have seen in a magazine or on TV.”
“I am most inspired when I am outdoors and visiting venues.”

Do trends influence your work?
“I try not to get led by trends and instead just stick true to what I would like to have on my day.”
“If I keep it true to myself and what I like then I hope others will also like it too!”

What is your greatest achievement?
“To me my greatest achievement happens on every couple’s wedding day.”
“It is that moment when they see everything together for the first time.”
“That gives me the buzz and is why I am so passionate about delivering not just a service but going above and beyond for each couple.”
What do you see as the future of your Company?
“I have weddings booked in up until 2017 and so I know for the next two years it will fundamentally run the same as present!”
“I am constantly looking to grow and develop though and tons of new products will be made during these years I’m sure.”

Thank you so much to Lauradana for sharing her gorgeous decor, wedding accessories and styling skills.
She wishes to leave you with some sage advice…
Tip for Brides
“Book your stylist in advance – you will save money!”
“By hiring a stylist you are taking the stress away from everyone and both parties can enjoy their morning.”
“I include everything on my hire list in my package and so the couple are likely to save a lot of, otherwise wasted, money on buying decorations.”
