Today I am thrilled to share the handmade and bespoke Wedding Bouquets of Chasing Rubies.
Claire Morrissey who owns Chasing Rubies creates her stunning bouquets by using crystals, buttons, jewellery, beads, fabrics and anything that sparkles!
Claire says of her work, “I have been a professional Florist for some years and during that time I have helped to plan lots of gorgeous weddings.”
“I love fresh flowers, but I wanted to create something that lasted for more than just one day, and I spend a lot of time designing and creating new ideas.”
“Some of these designs follow global trends, for example the popularity for vintage weddings and the film “The Great Gatsby” has seen a high demand for the range of pearl wedding bouquets.”
“I cover every style from vintage classics, modern twists and even gothic and burlesque creations. Often inspiration from the brides leads me somewhere completely unique.”
“We also create matching buttonholes for the grooms so they don’t feel left out!”
“Our website finally launched in August last year displaying both ready to buy bouquets and an option for brides to have a bespoke design created just for them asnd we have been lucky enough to have our bouquets shipped all around the world.”
“I love my job but I love it even more when I hear an exciting new comission, or a lovely thank you letter from the bride, and once even from the brides mother too!”
“I am hoping to pack out this summer with lots of wonderful wedding shows and get out to meet lots of brides in person.”
Claire would love to share some of her beautiful Designs….
Art Deco Buttonhole
Shabby Chic Buttonhole
Thanks so much to Claire for sharing her work.
These stunning Wedding bouquets are a luxurious alternative to fresh flowers and what a wonderful keepsake of a special day.
I particularly love Little Royal with its vibrant colour which would really make a stylish statement for the Bride that wants something a wee bit quirky and bold.
And wowsers, what about those buttonholes, especially the Art Deco…just too chic ( in a manly way of course!)
