Today I am thrilled to introduce Papertwin Weddings, creators of heartfelt and cinematic Wedding Films.
Papertwin are a dedicated team with over 25 years of video production experience.
They say that being asked to film a couples wedding video doesn’t just make them feel all gooey and drunk on love, but also fills them with a huge sense of pride, and thats the kind of people you want involved in your Big Day.
I hand you over to the lovely Jared to tell you all about Papertwin….
Who are you, and what do you do?
“I always wonder whether to say “Hello” or “Hi” with these things.”
“I’m going to go for it. Hi, we’re Papertwin wedding films, a wedding videography from Liverpool.”
” We create heartfelt, and cinematic wedding films.”
* wonders whether scouse accent is translating well *
When and why did you start your Company?
“We started in 2013. So this is our second year in the wedding industry, but don’t be fooled, we’ve worked commercially with our sister company all across the UK .”
“Our work has been shown on television and in movie theatres around the globe for the last 5 years.”
“It’s what gives us our edge, I think. Having experience with huge clients, and big campaigns, there’s no room for mistakes.”
“And it’s the same with wedding videography. You have to get it right everytime you shoot, because you know there’s no retakes.”
“As for why we started, I say the same thing whenever anybody asks me why we entered the wedding industry.”
“It’s a privilege to be a part of the happiest day of peoples lives. Even if it’s a small part.”
“If you can give a couple the ability to relive that day and all the feelings that came with it, whenever they wanted, just with the click of a button. It’s obvious, isn’t it? You have to do it.”
What inspires you?
“Devotion. Whether it’s a devotion to love, your friends or even your work.”
“To be devoted takes time and effort. And the world is moving in the opposite way.”
“Everything is designed to take no time, and with minimal effort.”
“So I’d say devotion, for sure.”
Do trends influence your work?
“Not at all. The only thing that influences our service is the couple. It’s all about them, what they want and how they want it.”
What is your greatest achievement?
“We once did an amazing harmony to a Bruno Mars track. That went down well in the studio.”
“(But seriously) Greatest achievement…probably surprising our first couple with a movie premiere for their wedding film.”
“We rigged a ton of hidden cameras, invited all of their family and friends and told them we were taking them for breakfast.”
“When they arrived to the theatre, they said it was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for them. It blew me away hearing that.”
“But the harmony was definitely a close second.”
What do you see as the future of your Company?
“I just want things to keep going as they’re going. People know that they are in safe hands with us.”
“The team are so passionate about doing a great job, that as long as we carry on going the way we are, the future’s bright.”
What would you say to people who haven’t thought about Wedding Videography?
“Explore the possibility. Take an hour out of your day, and watch a few wedding trailers.”
“Speak to friends who hired videographers and ask for their opinion.”
“You’ll know what’s right for you, and whether a wedding video is something you couldn’t live without. So just give it some thought.”
Thank you so much to the team for sharing their stunningly heart tugging and emotional cinematic wedding films.
When catching just a glimpse of someones life so moves you its proof positive that Papertwin are doing something right and doing it well.
Each trailer should come with a box of Kleenex ( in a good way!)
