Paper pretties from Little Cherub Design

I love to share new talent that I have come across on the Blog and today I am delighted to share the lovely Wedding Stationery of Little Cherub Design.
Caroline Kaye is a Designer/maker and stationery fanatic that crafts beautiful stationery, favour boxes, prints, bags, amongst other wonderful products.

I had a chat to Caroline Kaye about her blossoming business,
“My name is Caroline and I live in a small town in the North East of England called Yarm.”
“I am a busy mum of 2 boys and a lover of Whippets (I have one, look after another during the day & would love another one!)”
“I love baking and cooking and being a bit of a domestic goddess, and I am also owner of Little Cherub Design.”
“I set up my business when my 1st son was born as I wanted to be at home but still wanted to work, and I really loved to be crafty.”
“I design lots of different things, one of which is Wedding Stationery, I try to come up with bright & funky designs that are colourful, fun & eyecatching.”
“My designs are all printed to order and the colour combinations can be altered to suit each brides own requirements, there is no minimum order and I offer a wide range or stationery products, from save the date cards to invites to place cards to seating plans and everything in between.”
“I keep a look out when I’m shopping or just out and about to see what trends and themes I can see, shop window displays are great for picking up on trendy colour schemes and I love looking through craft magazines to pick up on trends.”
“Sometimes however inspiration can come from unlikely places, it could be something very random like a colour combination used to advertise a car or a blot from the blue.”
“About 3 years ago I made the move over to Not On The High Street to sell via their site, it has been very hard work getting it set up and seeing what sells and what does not sell, but is the best thing that I have done for my business, and it has grown from strength to strength.”
Thank you to Caroline for sharing her creativity on the Blog. I have particular fondness for the Calender Save the dates.
Practical yet pretty, they can be stuck to a home noticeboard or the fridge for a colourful reminder of a special day coming up….beautiful!
