Last January I was delighted to meet the lovely Sangeeta Laudus, co-owner of Olivier Laudus. I had been speaking to Sangeeta for some time on Twitter, and it was amazing to meet her properly.
The Olivier Laudus online Bridal boutique was established in 2004 by husband and wife team Olivier and Sangeeta Laudus.
The Boutique offers three fabulous collections.
The Signature Collection is an exclusive collection of wedding accessories including luxury hand-beaded wedding ring cushions and guestbooks designed by Olivier.
In addition, there is a Boutique Collection of handpicked ready-to-wear gorgeous accessories which include stylish bridal bags, pearl and crystal jewellery, princess-style tiaras, vintage-inspired headbands, bejewelled decorative hair combs, dreamy flower clips, sparkly diamante monogram cake toppers and even ivory heart-shaped umbrellas.
Finally, Olivier Laudus are proud to work with independent UK based designers and offer the Artisan Collection of unique handmade jewellery and hair accessories.
I met the lovely Sangeeta again last week in their fabulous new London Studio and she showed me their latest pieces and told me about the “Made in Britain” range.
“The Royal Wedding might have had a strong influence in bringing tiaras back into fashion, but 2011 was definitely still the year of the statement bridal headband.
“We, at Olivier Laudus are delighted to add a fabulous range of new headband designs to our Artisan Collection.”
“These stunning headbands are from an award-winning designer collection and are all made in Britain. Featuring Crystallised Swarovski Elements, the vintage-inspired pieces have been delicately handcrafted boasting romantic floral designs and soft freshwater pearls, dazzling crystals and beautifully cut diamante stones.”
“Although this range of headbands is particularly comfortable to wear, most pieces can be set on a hair comb so that only the detailed part shows.
“Each headband is made to order and can take up to 4 weeks. Prices range between £75-£190.”
All items are sold under the Olivier Laudus brand, and to add to the feeling of luxury, most items come wrapped in tissue paper and packaged in stunning white presentation boxes.
I was delighted to be finally able to visit the Studio. It is chic, stylish and in-keeping with the brand’s contemporary feel. The studio is decorated with flock wallpaper with a black and cream colour scheme and provides a lovely intimate backdrop for client consultations. It was also lovely to see the pieces properly, they are absolutely stunning.
