The Perfect soundtrack to your Big Day – Classical String Quartet on a Budget

A String Quartet is a unique and elegant musical accompaniment, and the perfect soundtrack to your Big Day.
If budget allows then the experience of live musicians is fantastic, and  the sounds of a String Quartet to accentuate a Wedding Ceremony or a Drinks Reception is truly beautiful.
But what to do if funds are a wee bit tight ?
The Cairn String Quartet is one of Scotland’s most sought after ensembles, pushing the boundaries of string tradition with a contemporary and unique take on classical music.
Collaborating with well-known bands, DJ’s and solo artists, the quartet is constantly in demand for performances throughout the UK and Europe.
They have made appearances at the MOBO’s with Professor Green and Emeli Sande, at Glastonbury, T in the Park and on BBC Radio 1.
Now they have produced 2 Albums that give the String Quartet experience, but available to those whose budget is a little smaller.
The first is entitled The Wedding Album, and contains a collection of their most popular traditional pieces for weddings, such as Pachelbel’s Canon, the theme from Braveheart, Greatest Day by Take That and lots more.
The second album released is for the more “RocknRoll’ bride – they have found that many brides are looking for that ‘something different’ for their day.
It veers away from tradition to create a more contemporary and unique vibe to their day.
The album contains tracks such as the Foo Fighters EverlongTonight, Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins, as well as tracks by Led Zeppelin and Queen.
