Embracing the dynamism of romantic colour is a dream for many couples in their Big Day, but a vibrant colourful wedding can be reality, and couples should not be afraid to embrace fabulous hues – in this case rich, luxurious purples and lilacs. This striking shoot was curated by florist and stylist, Gillian Neild from Where Bees Meet and captured by Kathryn Widdowson from Photography by Kathryn, and set at the beautiful Chapelgarth Estate. The shoot illustrates that the trick is to think about where purple  – or indeed any other accent colour you would like to use – can provide details and interest, rather than having everything in the shade...

Today I am thrilled to share this enchanting and elegant Ballet inspired Wedding Styled shoot. Images were captured by Arabella Smith with co-ordination by Sian Chaplin Events and an amazing collaborative team…   The Inspiration The inspiration for the shoot was a ballet theme with soft ethereal blush pinks, nudes, metallic tones and lots of luscious greenery (Pantone colour for 2017). The Setting The location for the shoot was the beautiful historic Edwardian venue of Chapelgarth Estate in Broughton North Yorkshire.
