Classic vintage glam winter wedding inspiration at Walton Castle

Today I am thrilled to share some classic vintage glam winter wedding inspiration at Walton Castle.

Images were captured by Megan McAdam Photography with the collaboration of a fantastic creative team.

Megan says of the shoot…

We went for a strong classic wintry theme, something I’ve always found looks so elegant

I think winter weddings can be extremely beautiful, crisp and magical in their own way.

Sticking to a budget can be slightly easier as it’s not peak season, and everyone enjoys a good party and celebration of love in what could otherwise be quite a quiet and dark time during the winter.

So I thought what better way than to get together with some amazing suppliers and to showcase to couples beautiful styling for this time of year.

Our bride is called Meg…she’s a shy but quietly confident young lady who enjoys a good giggle with close friends, subtle beauty/a tiny bit of sparkle and being outdoors.

She is an old fashioned romantic, polite and very much a people person.

The shoot is inspired by the classic understated vintage glam and country vibes that are associated with those colder winter months.

The colours are based on a late autumnal palette. while the editing of the images reflects the brides natural, relaxed and warm natured personality.

The shoot was at the beautiful Walton Castle, which has the most stunning views and is very fairy-tale like, holding more intimate and off-beat weddings.

The stunning floristry was by the ever so talented Henrietta Floral & Event Stylist.

The delicate and beautifully classic stationery was by Inkflower Press.

The subtle princess like hair and make-up was by Tracy Pallari Professional Hair and Makeup Artist and the team at Sallys Makeup, and our Bride wore a gown from Rookery Bridal.

Wonderful and key extras included Hay Bales from Country Hay Bale Hire, a horse box – from Feisty Mare South West and a gorgeous hand knitted shawl by Weddings by Laremi.

The team have worked seamlessly together to incorporate a few essential ingredients of timeless elegance, romance, style, contemporary and chic, to create a magical outcome, and seasonal inspiration for couples for their special days.
