Today I am thrilled to share this incredible bohemian bridal styled shoot that captures the essence of the free spirited Bride.
Images were captured by Hannah of Anna Beth Photography, an award winning Yorkshire based wedding and elopement photographer.
Hannah has just come back from the adventure of a lifetime, shooting elopements and bridal shoots in California and Arizona USA.
These amazing images from Yosemite National Park, feature talented local suppliers from the Yosemite area as well as a gorgeous dress from new UK based boho bridal brand Shikoba Bride.
Hannah tells us a bit more about the shoot…
I’ve always wanted to visit Yosemite and although it was quite a trek to get to, I made sure to plan it in as a stop on my USA road trip.
I am so pleased I made the effort to reach this remote place as I loved it there, it was worth every single twist and turn in a very long winding road to reach this beautiful location. We were so lucky to be blessed with amazing sunlight too.
We all met at my cabin in Oakhurst just outside of Yosemite to get ready for the shoot.
Claire, our model had driven up from San Diego to be our adventurous bride for the shoot, she was amazing, happy to climb rocks, run through meadows and to show of the gorgeous dress from Shikoba Bride.
It was lovely getting ready in the cabin where Melanie from Blush Make Up and Tans (Yosemite Make Up) created a lovely natural look on our bride.
She then added wild flowers to Claire’s hair straight from the bouquet to complete the boho look.
The dress is called Zara and is from Shikoba Bride an online bridal boutique from designers Fi and Becca.
The dress was a dream, flowing and gorgeous with lace detailing and full silk skirt with a cheeky slit to show a bit of leg! It moved so beautifully as Claire ran through the meadow in the light.
Jennifer from The Enchanted Florist and Whatnots created the amazing wildflower bouquet brimming with foliage. It had a real forest feel with beautiful flowers and colour.
She finished off the stunning bouquet with a pair of faux antlers to add to the boho vibe. It was the perfect look for the dress and the location.
We shot all around the Yosemite Valley all afternoon, experiencing the ever changing light.
We finished up in a meadow at golden hour where we literally chased the sun across the meadow before it disappeared behind the huge cliff face.
It was an incredible bucket list experience that as a photographer I feel so lucky to have been able to tick off my list.
I’m always looking for new places to visit, so if any couples are looking for a photographer for their wedding or elopement in an epic location, I’m your girl..I love a boho style adventure!
